3g-dialer does not ask for user and password. Also, apn is ignored too. The apn of Ancel Uruguay in the template is wrong (it is wrong in other distros of Linux too), must be “adslmovil” not “gprs”. So, the dialer does not connect to the Internet with 3g modems. Tested witha a Huawei e226.

Tell me the exact data for this connection and i will change it, tell me the username, password, apn, etc... or if they changes per every different client/user (like username and password, sometimes is a different one per every person)

As I said, Uruguay have 3 providers of mobile ADSL: Ancel (the biggest), Movistar and Claro. All of them need apn (that in Ancel is wrong, the right one is "adslmovil", not gprs), user and password. The user and password are differente for each user, the system may give de opportunity of insert them. User and pw are different for every person. Thank you very much for your quick attention.

Perfect, please update your 3g-dialer package in your system to the version 1.4-23 and check if works now, if you still having problem with this configuration re-open the report, i will close it since it should work without problems :)

It's better, now 3g-dialer ask for user, for password and the apn is the right one. But, in this stage: http://maceiras.org/downloads/3g-dialer.png the connection process stay stationary and do not connect. Perhaps the auto-dns may be yes, because the Ancel provider is auto-dns, and the stupid mode yes too.

Now 3g-dialer ask for user & pw, the apn is correct but stop in this: http://maceiras.org/downloads/3g-dialer.png Perhaps the auto-dns may be yes and the stupid mode yes too.
