FS#163 - Can't successfully boot from USB CD Drive
My system has a TDK 48/14/48D USB CD-Burner, which I have used to burn all of my Linux distros, then subsequently boot and install from them in the same drive.
Not so with Elive 1.0 GEM! By the way, I checked the Checksum and it matched.
When I boot from this CD in this drive, I see two lines at the top of the screen:
Unknown keyword in the config file
Unknown keyword in the config file
Then I can select ‘English’ and ‘Default’, after which I can go no further than this screen:

....and nothing else happens :(
I have sent a copy of lsmod.txt to Thanatermesis
Thanks!

Modules added, please try the next dev. version when its builded (suscribe to infomail at the http://elivecd.org website for are informed when its out)
I’m seeing the same problem trying to install from my SATA DVD burner. Tried booting the Macbook b10 CD and that boots up o-k but then I can only get 1024×768 max. resolution. Very frustrating. I really want to be able to install this on my machine. Please fix this soon. I looked for a new development verison of eLive that might have a fix but it looks like there’s been none since the 1.0 release.
That sounds good, the modules added on this version then are the ones that you* need :) the next development version of elive (not-macbook version) are comming soon, please see if this version works for you and make a comment here after to try it
Ok, version ready, you can try it at http://dev.elivecd.org/wiki/DevelRelease
