Do you have dcraw installed ?
Is this bug reported twice ?
What about installing libopenrawgnome1 libopenraw1 ?
kill “thunar” (also if you dont view it), then install only one of these packages, then run “/usr/lib/thunar/thunar-vfs-update-thumbnailers-cache-1”, and finally run a new thunar session to see if works and which package is needed exactly
btw, can you give me a feedback of audio-thumbnailers ? http://code.google.com/p/audiothumbnailer/
none of them work. no way to have thumbnails for my camera (minolta)
I never tried audio-thumbnailer, i don’t like the idea but i will give a look into it :D
I think is better a mini script with m123
Package raw-thumbnailer created, added to the repository, tested, debugged, retested, a lot debugged, special-elive-featured, redebugged...
Actually it uses raw-thumbnailer for the thumbnails, but is not very good and also very bugged, so in case that the format is not supported, or the thumbnail generated is wrongly made, it calls ufraw to made the thumbnail (a lot slower but a lot better), if the user dont’ has the package ufraw installed, it popups a messages requesting to install it
To use this feature, install the last version of the package raw-thumbnailer from the Elive repositories in a recent Elive system :)
working perfectly
