this driver has been added to the kernel from kernel 2.6.14, so if the dirver does no work that depends on the kernel build.

Admin

What driver is ?

I am not experienced linux user - how to find it? On Kanotix I select configure network card and it offers me network devices: eth0 and wlan0_hostap - then it ask me different question (channel, mode, DHCP, etc.)

Admin

Is a kernel module... for show the kernel modules running, lsmod, anyways you need to know what of those is... you can try lsmod when the wifi is running and when not (you can unplug this hardware?) and compare results

It si internal card, I cannot remove it :/ here is lsmod when bluetooh and wifi running

hmm

i could not see the wireless indentified on that output og lspci.

Sorry so, what can I do more to help you?

Admin

prism2, hostap driver, try the next iso build (development version), with a new kernel 2.6.18 and better wifi support

For the bluetooth, i don’t have idea of how to works it... explain me a little how to works since you plug the bluetooth device on your computer, how are detected, what launched... etc

Admin

Try the 0.5.2 dev. version of Elive about the wifi

For the BT, see this ticket: http://bugs.thanatermesis.org/?do=details&task_id=29

Admin

What is the name of the linux driver then ?

Admin

Your driver is hostap

Admin

Please try the next development version (1.6) where there’s a new rewritement on the wifi’s system (just started), so, if not works the wifi directly for you, leave here a comment
