FS#280 - Net-connector refuses to connect to unencrypted networks

When on the road and staying at hotels - it becomes necessary to connect to their unencrypted networks, but net-connector from the control panel refuses to connect to unencrypted networks.

The upgrade available in synaptic in version 1.9.14 (after install) refuses to connect to my WPA encrypted network.
The version of net-connector is: 1cvs20081012

net-connector needs actually a bit more of work, but your report is a bit old... how does it works actually ? are these bugs fixed ?
