FS#332 - e17 windows manager has bad habit of putting windows in strange positions..
more and more often when i open small windows such as pidgin or amsn e17 puts them on the border of the screen so that i can see only a tiny piece...
i have then to grab then and move to a better position.
I don’t know if is smth related to wrong settings but for sure i didn’t have this is gnome and it doesn’t look nice..

This is due to the development state of e17. If you have not yet upgraded the system try apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade.
This COULD solve the issue, but since we have no power over the development of E17 itself... there is little we can do until a new version comes out.
THana stays on top of it, and updates E17 on a weekly basis, sometimes more often.
I am always up to date :D
I guess i have to wait till the e17 devs fix it!
