I cant help you and more important, i can’t solve this bug in the installer that can affect other persons if we don’t put more activity there, the result of today was not very productive, nothing obtained, the ssh was not possible so forget it, I need you in the live mode, installing from the terminal and with the bug that has appeared (but without close that window, just keep it as this), so then i can made you run a command and to see where is the fail, looks like a problem of your hardware in any case
Ok, we will try to found the problem from there, when you have the installer ready like i have tell you (and only with the error showing in a window), run this command from a terminal in root mode (the command will take a while to finish)
This should show a kind of error, show me these errors
i tried that command however after a few mins two flashing lights came on and laptop hung ill do reinstall tomorrow try again and report back
Can you tell me if this problem still happens on a recent version of Elive ? There’s a lot of work made on it
please update
