FS#406 - Window Resize BUG for some Nvidia Cards, Compiz Versions
If I drag the edge of a window to resize, the window will freeze for about 5-10 seconds. Happens on Live or Installed versions 1.9.27 and 1.9.29.
Three different installs give the same result.
I have a Pentium D with Nvidia 9500gt and a gig of RAM.
Solved this issue by typing this in cmd line, thanks to user Asides:
nvidia-settings -a InitialPixmapPlacement=2 -a GlyphCache=1 &

this bug is fixed if im not wrong, can you please try to update your e17-compiz package ?
