FS#417 - Regression: eeepc 701 doesn't go to sleep anymore
After upgrading the system the sleep feature is lost:
closing the lid the computer doesn’t go to sleep
selecting sleep from the menu has no effect.

Can you confirm that you do it with AC plugged ?

here doesn’t go to sleep (installed upgraded mode)
with battery 100% or with AC.
it doesn’t go to sleep either i close the lid, or if i choose sleep from the sysmenu.
Maybe your laptop just needs a reinstall
Run the command hebernate –suspend from a root terminal under e17, see if there’s any error message that will help out, if this not works, may you can do a new install ?
