FS#514 - Screen Resolution cannot be changed

After upgrading from 1.9.51 to 1.9.52 the Screenresolution was set too high.
-I’ve used the Upgrade-Elive tool.
-I tried changing the resoultion back to 1280×1024 by using both: The tool provided in Elpanel “xconfigurator” and also the Enlightenment Configuration.

-Elpanel’s Tool xconfigurator seems to be doing nothing.
-Enlightenment Configuration returned an Errormessage, telling X-Server is missing XRandR.

looks like to be related to xorg updates

I need the /etc/X11/xorg.conf generated files of the live mode of both different versions (1.9.52 and any one older than 1.9.52), can you put them on a pastebin (set them "forever" in order to not lost them with the time)

Admin

Please ASAP, give me these 2 files, this is a important bug due to an update of xorg and needs to be solved... now that we are releasing 2.0, we dont want it on it :)

Admin

btw, what video card is ?

Well, unfortunately I cannot give you the xorg.conf of 1.9.51. This is because I upgraded to 1.9.52 (as mentioned in the original Report).
But of course I can show you the recent xorg.conf of 1.9.52.
It is available here: http://pastebin.ca/1716848

And to answer your last question: I'm using a Nvidia geforce 6200 pci-card manufactured by xfx.

Admin

About 1.9.51, you don't have the ISO ? affortunately you can download it from the servers if you dont have it, you don't need to install it, just boot it on live mode and get the xorg.conf file, so you can do it from a usb key, i need both in order to compare them

Question: do you ahve selected a resolution during the boot of this 1.9.52 ?, there's no resolution set on this conf

Admin

I have tried a recent iso and I can select correctly the resolution from the live mode and it worked, where exactly is the problem ?

Admin

problem solved, update the package upgrade-elive to the version 1.0 the next time you do this reinstallation mode and if still the problem, reopen the ticket
