FS#523 - CPU goverment strange after plugging to power from battery status
The CPU speed stand still low even after plugging power cord to adapter and the speed doesn’t grow up to full or to medium possibility. Still low power-saved mode. I have installed advanced power management, powertweak and gnome power management-the new one feature.

Mmmh, in a recent version of Elive you have gnome-power-manager gadget in the desktop
If you right click in the cpu-like e17 module you have some power configurations, does they works ?
no, the work like they want to work, not me :)
There are too many options, I'll try to translate from Czech:
Behaving of saving energy: Automatic save energy: yes/no,this is the lowest option, above are: automaticaly lower power consump., automatical, maximal speed, minimal speed
So strange is that it's not easily to understand. Whay twice something automatical? Just need only: autosave, maximal, minimal.. don't understand others..
Next is set speed: 1, 1.3, 1.6ghz which works only sometimes according to set other options which I don't know which ones cause as I wrote, they're too much
Next is Setting the rules of power consumption: and items are the same as in the first - behaving of saving energy,
so it seems to mee like it's some kind of dualicity
As I see it, there should be only:
automatical rule of saving energy and this leeds to setup ing gnome power manager - brightness on battery, and speed on demand, on low battery switch to low speed, on AC full speed..
manual switch - and choose what frequency
and maybe (just probably don't need cause of manual switch) - minimal speed (max save), maximal speed
All the options that are you talking about, are from the e17 module, right ? (no gnome-power-manager or other things)
yes..
well, then this needs to be reported somewhere else, not like a bug but like a feature-request (improvement), at http://trac.enlightenment.org/e , please report your suggestions for the "cpufreq module" on this site, i will close the bug from here
I think it's made because of translation - the dualicity. Because I have these same options in english and in Czech..
this is possible too, but needs to be also reported to they, its not from elive this module :)
