FS#56 - huge CPU consum. by terminal
Terminal takes all the free power of CPU on multilanguage system+keyboard layout-easily solved: Remove indication of switched keyboard in xorf.conf by lightening Scroll or something else. CPU falls back to normal!!! (unbelievable,but works for me-Czech lang. install+keyb CZ+US)

Do you have a nvidia card ?
ATI radeon, but BUG has returned, this is not solution.. It’s made by UTF probably
Try to add the option
URxvt.antialias: false
to $HOME/.Xdefaults
Do you use ATI Graphic Card ? I think to its related with the graphic card renderization of antialiasing pixels to urxvt has set by default (try the above comment conf), and well... ati... because is a well known card on graphic card problems
Sorry, that before conf is not the correct one, you need to search a similar line like URxvt.font: xft:Monospace:pixelsize=9 (or your line used, the uncommented one, and add to it: :antialias=false, then:
URxvt.font: xft:Monospace:pixelsize=9:antialias=false
Of course comment the others, when you launch a terminal now you can see the fonts feeling a little different
this is definitely a problem with ATI rendering, new elive should have { if detect ati cards replace “URxvt.font: xft:Monospace:pixelsize=9” with “URxvt.font: xft:Monospace:pixelsize=9:antialias=false” }
then again this problem is found in old ATI cards with Radeon driver and not fglrx.
Yes, it was Radeon driver....
well i think we know what to do next to slove this problem , thanks for your bug report.
Sorry for the long delay, like you can see, im absolutely busy :)
This should work for the next build (1.9.33) of Elive Development ISO, please try it and close the ticket if it works
Thanks for your report
