FS#581 - Can't copy audio CDs with brasero
Brasero is unable to copy CDs. Once it is done reading the source CD, it says it cannot eject the CD and so ejecting it manually and putting in the destination CD doesn’t do anything because the operation has failed.

The process you are describing would work if you had two drives. One is the source or "COPY FROM" disc; the second would be the destination, or "COPY TO" disc. When a person is stuck with one drive, the workaround would be to get the image or iso, put that temporarily in your hard drive, take out the first disc, then put in the blank CD and use Brasero to burn that iso to the blank disk.
If you look at the other projects in Brasero, you may be able to complete the task, but this is the way they suggest in their manual, when one is limited to one physical drive.
