FS#748 - Does not recognize wifi hardware

Attempt to boot from usb created with UsbWriter-1.3 from elive_3.0.6_stable_usb.img fails with
1) does not recognize wifi hardware:

2) Cursor does not respond to touchpad or enter key at select country screen

If Elive boots correctly then usbwriter is not the problem, as it records the system correctly

about the issues:

1: try the other kernel option

2: this issue sometimes happens in the first boot menu on some hardware or keyboard devices
