FS#765 - Installed Elive with OpenRC does not shutdown correctly from DE

When opting for shutdown from the desktop menu the machine does not shutdown but goes to the login screen with only a re-login available.
"sudo shutdown -h now" in a terminal does work and does NOT require a password.
