FS#8 - Change the pdf reader
Xpdf is not a bad reader but I think they are very better pdf reader now:
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evince (mulitpe document viewer)
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPdf (but now Evince remplace it)
Perhaps an other??

It's ugly yes, but is the better

privative and VERY big by adobe)

- XPDF is the better (and more ugly) PDF viewer to exist... is light and open any PDF
- evince depends of gnome libs and its more big... but apart of this, it not works good, don’t opens all the PDF‘s and most are opened very ugly
- GPDF is very similar to XPDF but more incomplete of options
- Acrobar reader is privative, VERY big (too much big for Elive, around 50 Mb), is slow to load, it rest in background when you don’t use it, and has spamm of comercial publicity
I don’t really know a better PDF reader than XPDF... also if XPDF is ugly (i have tried to search skins for it without very luck)
A posible solution is to make a look to EPDF (the PDF of Enlightnement), maybe is in a good state now... but we can’t posible to try it before to the first versions of 0.6-dev beta’s
