FS#84 - Opera crashed

After the update via Synaptic, Opera does not start. I get the message “Speicherzugriffsfehler”.

The apt sources list was not changed to “etch”.

I have updated the version of Opera, run apt-get

I could solve the problem by changing “DefaultDepth” option in /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to 16 according http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/blog/2007/04/06/hotfix.

  • Have you tried the latest version of Elive?. Please try it and let us know if the problem persists.

Thanks in advance for your help,

- Félix

With the update to Gem it was already fixed. But neverthless - thank you.
