Buenas noches, este bug es significativo desde e punto de vista de un usuario de nivel administrador pero a nivel de usuario no administrador es importante.
Empecemos, el administrador instala una impresora usb al pc portátil etc y la programa y la deja lista para que el usuario la use, aquí es cuando esta este pequeño fallo cuando el usuario sin conocimiento de la clave de root quiere imprimir algo enciende la impreso ya previamente instalada y sorpresa salta la autoconfiguracion de la impresora ya instalada pidiendo de nuevo la clave root que no sabe el usuario, el usuario puede imprimir lo que quiera pero se le quedara la dichosa ventana e incomoda de pedir la clave de root que el no posee.
La question:
Si ya tenemos una impresora instalada cuando esa dicha impresora la conectamos de nuevo porque salta la autoconfiguracion?

When trying to build an eap the icon selector confuses and piles the folders randomly, so that is hard to browse for icons: most folders are hidden by other ones..
moreover selecting an icon is possible only with double click and that opens gimp.

Iceweasel browser will not open email with hotmail.com. Hotmail.com says outdated and errors with mismatch tag. Tried to upgrade with synaptic package manager but synaptic package manager error message when reloading update lists and firefox is not available. Old versions of firefox (as in Mint 8 or other old linux distros) continue to work in Hotmail but iceweasel errors. Google Chrome does not offer add-ons that Firefox offers such as download helper so is not a good iceweasel replacement. I recently just paid for elive 2.0 and am facing errors with it being outdated. William

iceweasel shows some websites in memory when trying to write a website, it shouldnt have any sign of previous use. it would be also nice to have the fullscreen plugin available, on eeepc it works really nicely!

In 2.6.12 Iceweasel or Firefox sync with account takes only few seconds and is lost. After receiving confirming mail and confirming, everything repeats. I received mail from my mail provider with warning, my email was entered from more countries! I changed password for Firefox, but dosen’t help. In Debian Jessie or in Semplice evetyhing works.
Update-grub2 and grub-install doesn’t find other debians on my hard disk. This bug was allready in last version 2.6.10.

Using IceWeasel 2.0.0.3-1-2 (elive repository) extensions are forcedfully added for known fyletypes. Given a file filename.pdf, once downloaded it will be called filename.pdf.pdf, unles the user removes the extension in the file save dialog. I’ve seen the same behaviour with ppt, doc, tgz and other kind of files.
Unknown extensions are preserved with no problem (edj files).

iceweasel crashes about every 1-1 1/2 hours

I can’t visit some Web pages because they support just IE or Firefox, although ICEWEASEL is the same Firefox, but there sever can not recognized ICEWEASEL as Firefox, and thus can’t visit these webpages.

Icedove and Thunderbird are both installed by default on Elive 0.5.3. Thunderbird should be removed in favour of Icedove as this is the version that Debian is using. On a related note, maybe the Icedove icon should be replaced with one of the icons from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IceDoveIcon or one from gnome-look.org because I’m not sure if you can ship that icon without Thunderbird.

since the last update of Iceaweasel , it does not work fast as before, especially when i try to run it for the first time. There is some issues happened since the last update.
